Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions for underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Coordinate multi-agency responses to public health emergencies
- Lead community outreach initiatives for vaccination and health education programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and federal health agencies
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $1M annually
- Mentor junior public health professionals and interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health or healthcare analytics
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and GIS mapping
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal compliance
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, and public health reporting standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
