Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate evidence-based public health policies addressing urban health challenges
- Analyze epidemiological data and healthcare trends to inform strategic planning
- Collaborate with government agencies and community stakeholders on health equity initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for legislative review
- Manage grant-funded projects related to maternal health and chronic disease prevention
- Conduct public health assessments and emergency preparedness planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government or public health policy analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of Maryland public health regulations and federal compliance requirements
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Valid Maryland driver's license
