Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data and research to inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Develop and evaluate health programs addressing chronic disease prevention, emergency preparedness, and health disparities
- Collaborate with state agencies, legislators, and community stakeholders to implement health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and legislative testimony for senior leadership
- Monitor federal/state regulatory changes and assess impact on Pennsylvania's health programs
- Lead cross-functional teams to address emerging public health challenges
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Policy Analysis, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health policy analysis or government program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS) and health data systems
- Demonstrated experience with policy development and stakeholder engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania's public health framework and federal regulations (ACA, HIPAA)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a government environment
