Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement health programs
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for legislative stakeholders
- Monitor federal and state regulatory changes affecting public health initiatives
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with community organizations and healthcare providers
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend strategic improvements
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $1M
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health policy analysis or government administration
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of Texas healthcare systems and Medicaid programs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Experience with public health emergency response protocols preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance regulations
