Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource allocation needs
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships including hospitals, schools, and community organizations
- Manage program budgets exceeding $500K with rigorous fiscal oversight
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health department
- Supervise cross-functional teams of health educators and outreach specialists
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations including HIPAA and Title X
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3+ years managing public health programs or community health initiatives
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and health information systems
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state funding applications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly preferred
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation strongly desired
