Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to identify trends and inform policy recommendations
- Develop and evaluate health programs targeting Baltimore's underserved populations
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony for state officials
- Coordinate with community stakeholders and government agencies to implement initiatives
- Monitor compliance with federal/state regulations and accreditation standards
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure proper budget allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health policy analysis or program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS) and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of Maryland's public health system and regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Experience with grant management and reporting requirements
- Valid Maryland driver's license (required for field visits)
