Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate federal health policy initiatives aligned with national objectives
- Analyze complex healthcare data to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with interagency task forces on pandemic preparedness and response
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Oversee implementation of Affordable Care Act provisions in the Northeast region
- Conduct economic impact assessments for proposed healthcare regulations
- Represent agency at public health forums and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal or state government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in healthcare economics and policy evaluation methodologies
- Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (SAS, R, or Stata)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Demonstrated experience with interagency collaboration processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for policy documentation
- Knowledge of CMS and CDC program administration frameworks
