Responsibilities
- Design and oversee public health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with community partners to coordinate vaccination outreach programs
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and program gaps
- Manage grant budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state reporting requirements
- Train staff and volunteers on public health protocols and emergency response procedures
- Develop quarterly progress reports for the Department of Health leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, Tableau) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Ohio driver's license with reliable transportation
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (e.g., CDC guidelines)
- Strong interpersonal skills for community stakeholder management
