Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and gaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including healthcare providers, nonprofits, and government agencies
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets ($1M+ annually)
- Create educational materials and lead community outreach initiatives
- Monitor program outcomes and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Advise policymakers on public health strategies and interventions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program coordination
- Expertise in data analysis using statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Proven grant writing and budget management experience
- Strong understanding of health equity principles and culturally competent practices
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
