Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to address health disparities
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with county and state regulations
- Collect, analyze, and report health data using GIS mapping and statistical tools
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Train staff and volunteers on public health best practices
- Secure grant funding through federal/state applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in data analysis software (SPSS, R) and GIS tools (ArcGIS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Experience with community engagement strategies
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
