Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs aligned with state health priorities and grant requirements
- Manage program budgets, reporting, and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with community partners, stakeholders, and government agencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health disparities and inform program strategies
- Prepare grant proposals, progress reports, and presentations for executive leadership
- Monitor program performance metrics and implement continuous improvement processes
- Advocate for evidence-based policies and represent the department in public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health program management
- Proven expertise in grant writing, budget management, and program evaluation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex health data
- Experience developing and implementing community health initiatives
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of Colorado public health systems and regulatory frameworks
- Valid Colorado driver's license and ability to travel statewide as needed
