Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee evidence-based public health initiatives targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with local government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to develop strategic health programs
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend targeted interventions
- Manage program budgets, resources, and reporting requirements for state and federal compliance
- Lead community outreach campaigns and health education workshops on critical topics like chronic disease prevention
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership
- Stay current with public health policies, regulations, and emerging health threats
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health program management experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance reporting
- Strong project management skills with PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder engagement across diverse communities
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits
