Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate population health programs targeting underserved communities
- Oversee grant compliance and budget management for $2M+ public health initiatives
- Coordinate multi-agency coalitions for disaster preparedness and health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and intervention priorities
- Lead community outreach campaigns addressing health disparities
- Supervise cross-functional teams of health educators and data analysts
- Advise county officials on evidence-based public health policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or related field required
- 5+ years progressive experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proven success managing federal/state health grants (HRSA, CDC)
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Texas driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
