Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze local health data to identify emerging trends and resource allocation needs
- Coordinate with community stakeholders to establish health partnerships
- Develop educational materials and training protocols for healthcare providers
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
- Manage departmental health outreach initiatives and grant reporting
- Maintain compliance with CDC and state health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis software (SPSS, SAS)
- Proven experience developing community health strategies
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
