Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee $5M+ annual public health grants for chronic disease prevention
- Lead 15+ member interagency task force on emergency health preparedness
- Analyze health equity data to identify intervention opportunities in underserved communities
- Represent Pennsylvania at regional health policy forums and CDC conferences
- Manage compliance with HIPAA, PHAB, and CMS quality metrics
- Supervise 8 public health specialists and 3 data analysts
- Secure federal/state funding through competitive grant applications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in government health program management
- PH certification (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in health disparities analysis and community engagement
- Advanced proficiency in SAS/R for health data modeling
- Demonstrated success managing federal grant portfolios
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Clearances: FBI background check and child abuse clearance
