Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Manage program budgets, reporting, and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Coordinate with local health departments, community organizations, and healthcare providers
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and program effectiveness
- Train staff and community health workers on best practices and protocols
- Prepare grant proposals and secure funding for program expansion
- Represent the department at public health forums and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program management experience
- Strong knowledge of Texas public health regulations and CMS guidelines
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with diverse populations and community outreach
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
