Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health initiatives aligned with CDC guidelines and community needs
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with healthcare providers and non-profits
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Oversee program budgets and reporting requirements
- Lead community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Supervise program staff and evaluate performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of program management experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (e.g., HRSA, CDC)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, Excel) and health information systems
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee public health regulations and policies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Public Health (CPH) preferred
