Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Manage grant funding and compliance for state/federal health initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response protocols with county health departments
- Analyze community health data to identify emerging trends and intervention opportunities
- Lead cross-departmental coalitions for chronic disease prevention campaigns
- Oversee health education outreach to schools, senior centers, and underserved neighborhoods
- Prepare annual public health reports for city council and state agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years of public health administration experience in government or non-profit settings
- Current certification in Public Health (CPH) or eligibility
- Advanced knowledge of CDC/ADHS program requirements and reporting
- Experience managing budgets over $500,000 and grant applications
- Proficiency in health data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SAS)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
