Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting community health priorities
- Collaborate with government agencies, non-profits, and community stakeholders to coordinate health initiatives
- Manage program budgets, resources, and reporting requirements
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform program adjustments
- Oversee staff training and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive grant proposals and progress reports for funding agencies
- Lead community outreach and education campaigns on public health topics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program management
- Valid Nevada State Driver's License
- Experience with federal grant management (e.g., CDC, HRSA)
- Proficiency in public health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of Nevada public health regulations and compliance standards
