Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships including healthcare providers, community organizations, and local health departments
- Develop educational materials and lead community outreach initiatives across diverse demographics
- Monitor program compliance with state/federal regulations and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Manage grant-funded projects including budget tracking and performance metrics
- Advise policymakers on evidence-based public health strategies and emerging health threats
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health program implementation or health policy
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and health information systems
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives
- Experience developing community partnerships and culturally responsive outreach programs
- Knowledge of Arizona public health systems and Title V/Medicaid regulations
- Valid Arizona Driver's License for statewide travel
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive health data access
