Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive grant proposals and manage federal/state funding allocations
- Lead public health emergency response protocols and crisis communications
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Train healthcare professionals on public health best practices and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Bachelor's with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Nevada driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and CDC guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
