Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Atlanta communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data trends
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare detailed reports for state health officials and policy makers
- Train public health staff on emerging health threats and protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent certification
- Proficient in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and Georgia health regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
