Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health promotion programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for disaster preparedness and response initiatives
- Lead community outreach campaigns addressing chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Prepare grant proposals and manage federal/state public health funding allocations
- Advise policymakers on public health regulations and community health needs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in government public health or nonprofit health sector
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience managing federal/state grant-funded programs
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
