Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform strategic interventions
- Led cross-departmental initiatives for emergency preparedness and response coordination
- Develop grant proposals and manage budgets for public health initiatives
- Conduct community outreach and education campaigns on health equity topics
- Collaborate with state and federal health agencies on compliance and reporting
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and health informatics systems
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong understanding of CDC guidelines and state health regulations
- Excellent communication skills with diverse community stakeholders
- Valid Nevada driver's license and ability to travel within the city
