Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health intervention programs targeting priority health issues
- Collect, analyze, and report epidemiological data to inform health policy decisions
- Coordinate community health education workshops and outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve access to preventive services
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and standards
- Write grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with community health assessment methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
