Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations on preventive health initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects from proposal to implementation and reporting
- Conduct health assessments and develop intervention strategies for chronic disease prevention
- Lead public health emergency response planning and coordination
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and health advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
