Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate with local health departments and community organizations for resource allocation
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state legislators and federal health agencies
- Conduct on-site health inspections and compliance evaluations
- Manage grant funding for public health initiatives
- Train healthcare professionals on updated protocols and regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or nonprofit health programs
- Proficiency in health data analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- FBI background clearance for government position
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and management
- Knowledge of HIPAA and ADA compliance requirements
