Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and outbreak investigations for reportable diseases
- Collaborate with community partners to design culturally competent health education campaigns
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend policy improvements
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Provide technical assistance to healthcare providers and local health departments
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and public health stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS) and data visualization tools
- Experience with community engagement strategies and stakeholder collaboration
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
