Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and disparities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for city-wide health initiatives
- Coordinate cross-departmental collaborations on public health campaigns
- Manage grants and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Present findings to public officials and community stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff on public health research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health analysis or policy
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Experience with grant management and federal reporting
- Valid California driver's license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
