Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform intervention strategies
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community organizations for resource alignment
- Conduct health education workshops and outreach events across diverse neighborhoods
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state compliance and grant funding applications
- Lead emergency response initiatives for public health crises
- Maintain compliance with state and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of HIPAA and Texas public health codes
