Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health education programs targeting Arlington's diverse population
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Conduct health assessments and prepare comprehensive community health reports
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Respond to public health inquiries and provide expert guidance
- Participate in emergency preparedness and response initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel throughout Tarrant County
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder collaboration
- Knowledge of Texas public health laws and regulations
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential highly desirable
