Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives with local organizations and healthcare providers
- Develop health education materials and deliver workshops to diverse audiences
- Monitor program effectiveness and prepare compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency preparedness and response planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting requirements
- Strong communication skills with bilingual abilities in Spanish or Arabic
- Valid Michigan driver's license and ability to travel citywide
