Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting at-risk populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Coordinate multi-agency health initiatives with local governments and NGOs
- Lead community outreach campaigns for vaccination and disease prevention
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets for health initiatives
- Conduct health impact assessments for proposed city policies and developments
- Train healthcare providers on public health protocols and emergency response
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Demonstrated success in securing federal/state health grants
- Experience with community needs assessment and health equity initiatives
- Valid Missouri driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
