Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions for vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and outbreaks
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships for community health initiatives
- Lead public health education campaigns on disease prevention and wellness
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Provide technical guidance to local health departments and community organizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and health informatics
- Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of Texas public health statutes and CDC guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Texas driver's license with reliable transportation
