Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' compensation and pension claims with 95% accuracy
- Provide personalized benefits counseling to veterans and family members
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex cases
- Conduct outreach programs to increase veteran benefit utilization
- Maintain detailed case documentation in VA systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Analyze claim trends to improve service delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in veterans services or federal claims processing
- Proficient with VA systems (VBMS, VBAS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- VA Form 2850 (Application for Associated Health Occupations) required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Strong conflict resolution skills and emotional intelligence
