Responsibilities
- Design and implement community health education campaigns
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and outbreak investigations
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers on immunization programs
- Analyze health data to identify emerging public health threats
- Develop emergency preparedness protocols for natural disasters
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives for underserved populations
- Train frontline healthcare workers on public health protocols
- Report health metrics to state and federal agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Experience with emergency response coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
