Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives including vaccination drives and health screenings
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits to build health equity initiatives
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets to secure funding
- Conduct health education workshops and produce culturally competent educational materials
- Monitor compliance with state and federal public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or equivalent preferred
- Strong understanding of social determinants of health
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse communities
- Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
