Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analysis of health trends across Milwaukee County
- Develop community outreach programs addressing health disparities in urban and suburban areas
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train healthcare providers and community stakeholders on public health protocols
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and public health agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or related field with 3+ years of experience
- Proven expertise in epidemiological methods and health data analysis
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin public health laws and CDC guidelines
- Experience with community health assessment and program evaluation
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
