Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting vulnerable populations in Oakland
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate emergency response activities during public health crises
- Conduct community outreach and education initiatives on health topics
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to improve access to services
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets effectively
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of California public health regulations and standards
- Valid California driver's license
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin preferred
