Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health intervention programs
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Coordinate inter-agency response during public health emergencies
- Develop educational materials for diverse community populations
- Monitor compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers and community leaders
- Manage grant funding for health initiatives
- Prepare reports for legislative stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of government/public health experience
- Valid California Public Health License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS)
- Experience with emergency preparedness planning
- Strong policy development and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA/CLIA compliance requirements
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance
