Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Conduct health assessments and prepare detailed compliance reports for federal/state agencies
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring regulatory compliance and budget adherence
- Lead emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Maintain accurate health databases and ensure HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government or non-profit public health roles
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with CDC/DOH reporting protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
