Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives with local healthcare providers and non-profit organizations
- Manage grant budgets and reporting for state-funded public health initiatives
- Develop educational materials for diverse audiences on health topics like vaccination and nutrition
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean record
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and fund management
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and Healthy People 2030 objectives
- Ability to communicate effectively with multicultural communities
