Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health promotion initiatives.
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies to align strategies with Healthy People 2030 objectives and CDC guidelines.
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend evidence-based interventions.
- Manage grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate emergency preparedness responses and public health crises.
- Advocate for health equity through policy development and community outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program management or government healthcare roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and health information systems.
- Knowledge of federal regulations (HIPAA, CDC guidelines) and state health policies.
- Strong project management skills with experience in budget oversight and grant administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification within 6 months.
