Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted public health programs addressing chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations to deliver outreach initiatives and health education
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses and public health crisis management
- Monitor compliance with health regulations and conduct program evaluations
- Secure and manage grant funding for public health initiatives
- Present findings to stakeholders and advocate for policy improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Experience with community engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Strong understanding of local health disparities and social determinants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
