Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data trends
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Lead community health education initiatives and outreach campaigns
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and tribal communities
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Stay current with federal/state public health regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience with emergency response protocols
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Spanish fluency preferred
