Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies to maximize program impact
- Design and execute health education campaigns for diverse populations across Phoenix
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for city leadership and stakeholder meetings
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and recommend policy improvements
- Lead emergency response initiatives during public health crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation or related field
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS) and health information systems
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and public health best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated report-writing ability
- Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
