Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and emerging threats
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on policy development and regulatory compliance
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and state health departments
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Lead community outreach initiatives targeting underserved populations
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (required)
- Minimum 5 years of public health program experience in government or non-profit sector
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Valid North Carolina Public Health Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in health policy analysis and grant writing
