Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response initiatives for public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends
- Develop and implement outreach programs for underserved populations
- Collaborate with federal/state health agencies for compliance
- Manage grant applications and funding reports
- Conduct community health assessments and interventions
- Train healthcare providers on public health protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in government/public health roles
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with emergency management systems
- Strong grant writing and reporting skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance within 30 days
