Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate disease surveillance and outbreak investigations across Dallas County
- Conduct community health assessments and data analysis for policy recommendations
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and compliance reporting
- Lead public education campaigns on health equity and preventive care
- Collaborate with federal/state health agencies on regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years government or non-profit public health experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience with emergency preparedness planning
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Valid Texas driver's license
