Responsibilities
- Conduct public health assessments and epidemiological surveillance for community health trends
- Design and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Analyze health data to identify disparities and inform policy recommendations
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to address social determinants of health
- Develop grant proposals and manage public health program budgets
- Train county staff and community members on health regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health or community health initiatives
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or similar)
- Experience with grant writing and program evaluation
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record
- Bilingual in Spanish or other relevant community language preferred
